Our Team

Matthew Wells is the President of Western Mechanical Contractors, where he focuses on estimating and client relations. Matt has been involved in construction for most of his life as a third-generation professional in the plumbing trade. He enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Matt Hill is the Vice President at Western Mechanical Contractors where he manages logistics, operations, and policy. Matt has been in the construction industry for the last 22 years, specifically in the plumbing trade. Matt started his career working at a plumbing supply house until he was hired onto a residential plumbing company. From there Matt moved up through the plumbing industry from residential to commercial and service, then into running high end commercial projects. Once the opportunity presented itself, Matt moved into an office/operations role at Western Mechanical Contractors overseeing all company operations, in addition to managing targeted company growth. Matt enjoys spending time with family, camping and fishing.

Karen Noel is the CFO of Western Mechanical Contractors where she manages all aspects of Office Administration, HR, Accounting and Company Financials. Karen started her career in Southern California working in the construction and manufacturing industries. She became the Office Manager for a General Contractor in the mid-eighties, where she began her management career. Karen Started with Western Mechanical Contractors in 2010. In her spare time Karen is an avid reader, loves to do pottery, oil painting and sculpting. Karen also likes exploring good food and wines with her family.

Michelle Desmet is the Service Dispatcher for Western Mechanical Contractors where she schedules, and coordinates service plumbers in the field. Michelle’s start in plumbing began in a supply house for ship building and then moved into industrial plumbing sales at a supply house. Once getting her feet wet in our industry Michelle began purchasing for Western Mechanical in 2016 and transitioned into her role in dispatching in 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Carly Stroomer is a dedicated Project Coordinator at our commercial plumbing company, where she plays a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. Known for her organizational skills and collaborative spirit, Carly helps keep teams aligned and timelines on track in a fast-paced construction environment. Outside of work, Carly enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping , relaxing at the beach, and attending social events with friends.

Jeff Blume is a Project Manager with Western Mechanical Contractors. Jeff started with  Western Mechanical overseeing jobs from small TI projects to large new builds.  Jeff started his career in the industry working for a residential general contractor building custom homes, gaining experience from foundation to turnkey.  Most recently, Jeff worked 12 years for a large construction staffing agency overseeing recruitment and employee development. Jeff says “the best part of my job is seeing projects get completed from the beginning designs through completion and working alongside proven professionals every step of the way.”  On a personal note, Jeff enjoys many outdoor activities including camping, boating, golfing, and spending time with family.

Jamie Fultz is the Accounts Payable Representative and Receptionist at Western Mechanical Contracts where he handles incoming calls, mail, invoicing, and all accounts payable responsibilities. Jamie has worn many different hats in his 30 years of service as everything from a gas station attendant to manager, restaurant manager, insurance call center representative, and H-Vac dispatch coordinator. Jamie's passion for numbers and learning has led him to his current role within Western Mechanical Contractors where he hopes to continue to learn and grow as the company expands.  When Jamie's not working his love for all things Sci-fi and fantasy drive him to be an avid reader, comic book collector, Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons player.

Julie Hahn is the Project Engineer at Western Mechanical Contractors where she coordinates project submittals, permitting, safety plans and aids the project managers in whatever they may need. Julie has over 6 years of experience in coordination and 4 in commercial plumbing specifically. Prior to coordinating, she was in food and retail management for 20 years. Outside of work, Julie enjoys time with her family, sports( huge Seahawks fan), and being outside.

Alex Kacso is the Purchasing Agent and Warehouse Manager for Western Mechanical Contractors. Alex started his early career as an Automotive Technician. After 11 years working on cars, he got the opportunity to move into construction/HVAC as an HVAC equipment installer. Alex hired on with Western Mechanical a few years later.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
